Why did my purchased file come with a voice tag?
Bought a beat on Beat22 but received a file with a voice tag? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered.
Here’s why it might happen and how to quickly get it resolved.
Why does this happen?
Each beat on Beat22 is uploaded and managed directly by the producer. Sometimes, the seller may accidentally upload a tagged version instead of the untagged one meant for licensed buyers.
Beat22 does not alter, tag, or reprocess beat files, we simply deliver what the seller uploads.
What to do If you received a tagged file:
If your purchased beat still contains a voice tag, follow these steps:
- Take a screenshot of your payment confirmation or invoice
- Note down the beat name and order number
- Email us at support@beat22.com with the details
Once we receive your email, we’ll coordinate with the seller and send you the correct untagged file as soon as possible.
Why can’t Beat22 just fix it directly?
Beat22 is a marketplace, the content is fully controlled by the sellers. We don’t modify or replace beat files unless the seller provides a corrected version. However, we’re always here to support you in such situations and ensure you get what you paid for.
Tip: Always Check File Type Before Using Publicly
If anything seems off with your download (e.g. tags, missing stems, or wrong file format), let us know early. We’re happy to help.
